Flume Trail Mountain Bike Tour: (3 hours)
We can ride the Flume trail a number of different ways; however, the typical way is for us to meet at the Tunnel Creek Cafe and shuttle from incline to Spooner Summit and begin our ride at the State Park trail head. At Tunnel Creek Cafe guests can pick up their reserved bike rental from  the Flume Trail Bikes shop next door. We will hitch a ride to the State park on Spooner Summit and get on the North Canyon Trail.
The Trail starts out with a short fire road descent and gradually rolls uphill for 3 miles until the last half mile, where heartbreak hill will challenge all but the most seasoned climbers to walk some point before the crest.
At the summit, the work is done, and it is downhill to Marlette Lake. Breaks, snacks and lunches are taken based on each groups needs.
From there we hp on the Flume Trail and enjoy a fantastic four mile traverse overlooking the lake, guides usually have stories to share about the sites history.
We finish the ride on the Tunnel Creek Downhill, a wide trail where sand monsters test their skills, until the trail ends back at Flume Trail Bikes!

Rim Trail Mountain Bike Tour: (3 hours)
On EVEN calendar days, EVEN bikes can ride the 9 mile Rim Trail from Mt. Rose Highway to the top of Tunnel Creek.
We can ride the Rim trail a number of different ways; however, the typical way is for us to meet at the Tunnel Creek Cafe and shuttle from incline to Mt. Rose Highway Summit and begin our ride at the Rim Trial head.
Meeting at Tunnel Creek Cafe guests can pick up their reserved bike rental from  the Flume Trail Bikes shop next door. We will hitch a ride to the Rim Trail Head on Mt. Rose Summit and get on the Rim Trail.
The Rim Trail initially climbs towards Chickadee Ridge and hugs it until sometime after diamond peak where it descends to join the top of Tunnel Creek. At this point there is room for variation as well, but most will want to descend to Flume Trail Bikes and call it a day.
